About us
ABEF works to address environmental challenges in Antigua and Barbuda by mobilising funding and expertise to support locally led conservation initiatives.
We raise funds from individuals and organisations who care deeply about this country and regrant them to local groups through multiple grant giving rounds each year. Our goal is to ease the fundraising burden on these groups while also providing access to the shared knowledge and expertise of Conservation Collective’s global network; helping local groups strengthen their work and amplify their impact.
Mission
We mobilise funds and expertise from individuals and organisations who care deeply about this country and channel them to impactful, locally led initiatives that safeguard nature and promote a sustainable, resilient future. Guided by Conservation Collective’s belief that local communities are best equipped to drive lasting environmental change, we embrace a bottom-up approach by empowering grassroots groups with the resources, knowledge, and support they need to create meaningful, long-term impact.
